Registration

Registration is the 28th of August from 10am to 2pm,  and the 1st of September from 6pm to 8pm in the YMCA lobby in Rockland.  However it is never too late to register.  Contact our registrar on the  "Contacts" page for more information.

We will be having our opening Campfire at Tucker House on the 8th of September and our meetings will start on the week of the 13th.

Early Registration

Every year around the May/June time frame, we start accepting early registration applications.  This is a good way to save some money.  If you know your child will be returning the following year you can save a few dollars (around $15.00) off of the registration cost by pre-registering.

Costs

Cost to register this year is $207. Only a portion of this fee goes to the Scout Group. The rest of the costs go to Scouts Canada and the Odawa Area. 

 Looking for Leaders

Scouting activities happen through the work of our volunteer leaders. But being a leader is not just about the youth. It is also about developing and improving skills for our adults that can translate into other areas of life. Leadership, training, organization and risk management are all skills we build in our leaders. Through it all, you can spend quality time with your youth and others, watching and helping them grow and develop.

The number of youth that we can accept is in direct proportion to the number of leaders we have. We are looking for leaders who want to grow and give to the youth of our community.
